A Level 4 concert piece written for wind ensemble instrumentation that can be played by a concert or symphonic band. This composition reflects the full cycle of a wildfire from the ominous conditions that provide fuel, the spark that ignites the initial burn, the menacing nature of the burn as it consumes available fuel leading to the ferocity of a full burn that allows the fire to burn itself out. Appropriate for any concert setting.
